Donate A Computer/Laptop

Isaar Trust provides the highest-quality, refurbished computers for reuse in Education, Health and not-for-profit Organisations in developing countries. We ship PCs to where they are most needed in more than 100 countries.

 

 

Equipment Accepted

Isaar Trust accepts any working Pentium 3 and Pentium 4 computers and laptops, as well as 15" and 17" monitors. We also welcome peripherals and spare parts including laptop power adaptors, power cables, keyboards and mice.

 

Equipment Collection

When you send us details of the equipment to be removed we will arrange an equally suitable date and time for collection.  We will take away all the equipment detailed in the Equipment Collection Schedule

 

 

Individuals Donations

Donations from individual PC owners as well as to donations from larger organisations are valued and have helped us immensely to provide a better future for many people.

You can drop off your computer personally at our London Based drop off point and at our Greater Manchester based drop off point.

Data Destruction

Donating your computers to The Isaar Trust guarantees compliance with all UK legislation, including the WEEE directive, Data Protection Act and Environment Act.

All computers received by Isaar Trust will be data wiped as standard. We use state of the art software to overwrite the Hard Drives before we ship them to various projects around the world.

  • Industry standard of data erasure of hard drives.
  • All data is removed permanently (impossible to recover data).
  • If requested we can remove and physically destroy the hard drive.
